1952 Sohmer Console #109553

A great little piano! This has been very well preserved and was hardly played. Locally manufactured, it features a stunning deep red/maroon mahogany satin finish and very nice genuine ivory keys--no yellowing or chips that are so common in used pianos with ivory. Also real ebony wood sharps. The action has been cleaned, lubricated, tightened and regulated with the hammers reshaped and voiced for the best optimal sound. Plays like new and oh, those ivories! An attractive small piano gift for a serious musician or an aspiring student. Price includes professional delivery and in-home tuning.

1942 Knabe Console #129472

Another vintage gem...this piano also features genuine ivories and a dark walnut medium gloss finish. Another quality American made piano from an era in the industry which hasn't been revisited.

The action has been lubricated, tuned and regulated. This instrument features a mellow, quieter tone and decorative case. Price includes in-house tuning and professional delivery. Read more about William Knabe and Company at their web site.

1917 Lauter Upright

This pre-war locally made Lauter full upright piano dates to 1917 and has been near fully refurbished by professional tuner and technician and Registered Piano Technician of the Piano Technician's Guild. Lauter was a small, quality-oriented piano company based in Newark, NJ.

This piano features all new (and arguably the best) Renner Blue hammers, new shanks and hammer butts, new damper felt, and new cloth on the whippens and stickers. It has also been completely restrung and repinned for the most brilliant sound and tuning stability. You get the great old world quality (we all miss it...) with the reliability of new parts and no breakdowns. They simply don't make upright pianos like this anymore--the closest approximations are well over $12,000.
